Safeguarding Adults L3-4

Our Safeguarding Level 3 & 4 training is designed for healthcare professionals with a key role in managing and responding to complex safeguarding concerns. Level 3 focuses on advanced skills for identifying, assessing, and managing cases of abuse, including multi-agency collaboration and safeguarding protocols. Level 4 provides an in-depth understanding of leadership responsibilities, legal frameworks, and decision-making processes involved in safeguarding cases. Participants will gain the expertise to lead safeguarding initiatives, manage high-risk cases, and ensure that vulnerable individuals are protected through effective, coordinated care and response strategies.

About The Course

This advanced safeguarding training equips health and social care professionals with the knowledge and skills to identify, assess, and respond to adult safeguarding concerns. Covering legal frameworks, complex safeguarding scenarios, and inter-agency responsibilities, the course supports learners in managing cases of abuse, neglect, and self-neglect. Real-world case studies, risk assessments, and reflective practice are integrated to enhance critical decision-making and promote person-centred care in line with statutory guidance and the Care Act 2014.

Learning Objectives

Understand the legal, professional, and ethical duties regarding safeguarding adults, including the Care Act 2014 and related statutory frameworks.
Identify and respond effectively to signs of abuse, neglect, and self-neglect in a variety of settings.
Conduct risk assessments and implement safeguarding measures using a person-centred and outcome-focused approach.
Work collaboratively within multi-agency settings to safeguard adults, including making appropriate referrals and sharing information lawfully.
